Have an idea, but don't know where to start?

Started, but not sure what's next? Let's develop a plan.

Get all the expertise, innovation, and guidance of an in-house editor without ever going in-house.

The process of publishing a book can seem intimidating from the outside.

My experience comes from the inside--fifteen years working for traditional publishers in a variety of medical markets. I can give you all the support you need to build a better book product.

Whether you have an idea, a pile of paper, or a published previous edition, the process consists of the same four stages:

Stage One:
Information Gathering

You talk, I listen. I'll ask a few leading questions, then will give you the space to tell me what you want.

Stage Two:
Research

When I understand your vision, I'll go back to the market to understand how your work fits in with what already exists.

Stage Three:
Planning

We talk, we listen. This stage is built on the previous two. All of the information and all of the market research will go into the development of a blueprint.

Stage Four:
Implementation

When we have a plan, we'll implement it. I will manage the manuscript development process, and will keep you appraised of progress.

Meet Megan

I have spent more than a decade developing books for some of the largest (and smallest) healthcare publishers in the world.

I know the book development process isn’t just about the book: it’s about content quality and making that quality content agile enough to work in print and across digital platforms.

My specialty is turning your ideas into books, ancillary products, and revenue streams you may not even think exist yet.
